I had a girl pushed up against a wall and my tongue was down her throat. I can honestly tell you now that I was way to drunk to notice that it wasn’t my fiancée I was kissing.

“Alex?” I head her say. She was behind me. I could hear the hurt in her voice. I pulled away from the girl and closed my eyes, sobering up quite a bit. I couldn’t do anything so I just turned around. Rhianna was there, her arms by her side, her eyes wide. ‘Goddamn it McLean you idiot’ I thought to myself

“Rhia” I said. I’d gotten into the habit of calling her Rhia.

“Alex” She replied. Looking at me.

“I’m sorry” I said, pushing my sunglasses away from my eyes.

“Sorry my ass” She said looking away and playing with the engagement ring

“I can explain, Rhianna” I said

“No need Alex, I can see what you’re doing” She said.

“AJ, who’s she?” Asked the girl I’d previously been kissing

“That’s Rhianna, my fiancée” I said

“You might wanna share a room with one of the guys tonight” Rhianna said turning around and beginning to walk over to where Nick, Kev, Bri and Howie were all laughing and having a good old time, oblivious to what had just happened. I followed her. Stumbling as I went. Even after I’d sobered up a little, I was stil way too drunk for my own good. I got there just in time to see her tap Nick’s shoulder. Her and Ncik were best friends, anyone could see that.

“Hey Reese, what’s up?” He asked with a big smile.

“Can you come out the front and wait for a cab with me?” She asked

“Sure thing, let’s go” He said finishing off his beer and standing up, taking her arm and leading her through the crowded club. I slumped into his newly vacated seat and slammed my head on the table.

“Jay?” Asked Kev

“I’m an idiot, I’m a fucking idiot” I said

“AJ, what happened?” Bri asked. I was about to answer when I was yanked out of my seat. The table tipped wildly and my chair fell backwards. I found my self looking up into Nick’s angry face. His grip on my collar tightening. I was having trouble breathing.

“How could you?” He spat

“You know how I get when I’m drunk” I said, I may as well have told him to go fuck his mother because his grip tightened some more and if elt myself being lifted off the ground.

“Nick, calm down” Said Brian.

“Calm down? Calm down? I just put one massively upset girl in a cab and you want me to calm down?” He asked wildly

“What happened?” Kev asked

“She found him kissing some slut” Nick said, staring at me coldly.

“Nicky, let him go, he can’t breath” Bri said softly, touching Nick’s arm. Again his grip tightened and I started to struggle against him.

‘Nick, let him go” Bri said, more firmly this time. Nick shoved me backwards and turned around. I fell on the floor, landing on my wrist. I thought I felt it snap and pain starting shooting up it. I gasped for air as tears clouded my eyes. I certainly was an idiot.

“C'mon Jay, get up” Kev said taking hold of my good arm and helping me to my feet.

“I think my arms broken” I said puffing

“Alright we’ll go to the hospital, come on” he said holding on to me. I managed to stay composed until we left the club where I just broke down and started crying. I saw Nick laying into a wall and Brian go over to him and rub his back as he leaned against the wall.

“Looks like we’re all going to the hospital” Said Howie. Kev got a cab and put me in it and than went over to Brian and talked to him. He came back over and talked to Howie for a minute before climbing in beside me.

“It’s ok Jay” He said

“No it’s not, I was with some other girl” I said, spluttering.

“We’ll work it out tomorrow, let’s just get you fixed up ok” He said as we started on our way to the hospital.

“Where’s everyone else?” I asked

“Bri’s taking a separate cab with Nick and D’s gone back to the hotel to check on Reese” He said. I nodded.

“I love her Kev, I really do” I said, looking at him

“I know you do Jay, and she loves you too” He said patting my shoulder. As we arrived at the hospital we went in and I had to tell them my full name and I hated that.

“Come on Alexander, we’ll get you in straight away” She said

“No, if there’s someone sicker than me I’ll wait” I said. She glanced into the waiting room which consisted of mainly homeless people.

“I’m sure they can wait” She said with a smile. I shrugged and followed her into the x-ray room.

“Have you consumer any alcohol in the past 24 hours?” She asked

“Uhh, yeah I was just at a club”  said. She nodded and took a couple of x-rays than told me to wait in a room. Kev came in and sat on the chair near the bed.

“Nick came in” He said

“Is he ok?” I asked

“A few broken fingers, some bad cuts that need stitches” He said

“God I’m so stupid” I moaned

“Everyone makes mistakes Bone” He said. The nurse came back in pushing a tray and smiled at me.

“Noticed some bruises on your neck, were you in a fight?” She asked, examing them carefully. I glanced at kev and he just looked on.

“Hey, some times I like kinky” I mumbled

“Ahh, fair enough” She laughed and smiled at me. I half smiled back.

“Now, Alexander, you’ve broken your arm in 2 places so we’re gonna cast you” She said

“Will I still be able to perform?” I asked

“If you can stand the pain, than yes, you can still perform, though I wouldn’t recommend it” She said

“How long will it be in the cast?” I asked as she took off the chunky bracelet that Reese had gotten me for Christmas and handing it to Kev. I saw Nick and Bri walk into the room and Nick sat on the bed next to me. I tenses up and glanced down at his hands, which were bandaged. The nurse carefully wrapped up my wrist with the wet bandage dipped in plater and Nick sat quietly and watched. When she was done she secured it into a sling and gave me a morphone tablet to take so I could get some sleep. She left and Nick turned to me. I tensed again.

“I’m sorry” He said

“No, I deserved it” I said

“No one deserves to be choked” He said looking down

“I told her I liked it Kinky when she asked” I said. He grinned at me.

“Typical” He said. I smiled and shrugged.

“Come on, I’m tired, let’s go” Bri said.

Chapter 2

We left the hospital and got in the cab that was waiting. When we arrived at the hotel I started worrying. We got in the elevator and went up to our floor. The door to mine and Reeses door was closed, but unlocked and I glanced at the guys before slowly pushing the door open. She had candles lit and was laying curled up in the bed. I closed the door quietly and locked it. I went over to the chair opposite the bed and sat down, watching her. She had her back to me. I kicked off my shoes and sighed.

“Alex?” She mumbled rolling over

“Yeah” I said. She opened her eyes and looked at me, than she shot up and stared.

“What happened are you ok?” She asked

“I’m fine, it’s just broken” I said. She slid off the bed and walked over to me, inspecting my cast in the dim light.

“What happened?” She asked again

“Nick jus got a little angry” I said with a shrug

“Come to bed” she said

“I’m not sleepy” I said

“Just lay with me than” She said. She reached over and turned the light on and looked at me again.

“He choked you?” She asked, a tear slipping down her cheek.

“I deserved it Rhia, I would’ve choked him if I caught him cheating on his fiancée” I said. She sat down on the bed.

“Were you drunk?” She asked

“Extremely, I still am” I said. She nodded.

“Why did you do it?” She asked

“I don’t know” I said softly

“come to bed” She whispered softly. I laid down on the bed on my back, with my broken arm resting on my chest. She lay on her side with her arm across my stomach and watched me.

“I’m sorry” I said

“Will you ever do it again?” She asked

“God no, I will never ever hurt you like that again” I said turning my head to look at her. I realised my sunglasses were missing. I didn’t care.

“I love you Alex” She whispered

“I love you too” I whispered back. She leaned over and kissed me gently. I kissed her back and than watched her fall asleep. I drifted to sleep eventually as well.

Chapter 3

I woke up in an empty bed and sat up, wincing in pain as both my head and my arm started throbbing at the same time. I glanced at my watch and saw it was almost 2 in the afternoon. I slowly stood up and went over to the door where I found a note.

“Alex, I’ve gone to the sound check with the guys. Come when you feel better, there’s a bottle of water in the frdge. Love always Rhianna” I read to myself. I went over to the fridge and found the bottle of water. I drank half it and than carefully undressed and had a shower, without getting my cast wet. I got dressed in a pair of jeans and a tank top and pulled my sling back on. I found another pair of sunglasses and pulled on my latest hat, a purple beret. I went out the door and found my bodyguard, Jerry, talking to his girlfriend on the phone in the lobby. I sat next to him and he slapped my knee in greeting.

“I gotta go, babe, Bone’s here. Yeah tell Lisa that I love her and that I’ll be home soon and I love you too baby” He said. I smiled. Lisa was his new born daughter. He hung up and smiled at me.

“Heard about last night dude” he said

“yeah, I’m sure the whole world has by now” I said

“Well, that’ll teach you to cheat on your fiancée” He said. I nodded and followed him out the door. A few fans were there and they gawked at me, whispering to each other,

“What happened?” Blurted one girl

“Oh, I fell over at sound check yesterday” I said making a mental note to tell everyone else. I signed a few autographs and got in the waiting car. At the Arena I went to the stage and saw Rhianna doing a duet with Nick while the others sat and watched. She had an amazing voice. They were singing a song I hadn’t heard before and it sounded catchy. I went and joined the guys.

“How’s your arm?” Bri asked

“It’s ok, kinda sore, I dunno what hurts more, my head or my arm” I said

“Hey Alex” Reese said smiling at me

“hey baby” I said half smiling back

“Yo dude, how’s your arm and neck?” Nick asked

“They’re fine, how’s your hands?” I asked. He held them up. 3 of his fingers on his left hand were taped together and 2 on the other hand and I noticed elastoplast covered his knuckles on both hands.

“They’re ok, I hurts a little to hold a mic, but I’ll live” He said shrugging.

“What song were you just singing?” I asked

“Reese and I wrote iton the plane the other day while you were asleep” He said. I nodded.

“Come on guys, lets get this over and done with” Said Kev standing up. I stood and caught Reese just as she was going past me.

“Rhia” I said. She smiled at me

“Can we talk after this?” I asked

“Yeah, I think we should” She said. I half smiled and she leaned up and kissed my cheek. I put on a headset and we went trhough a couple of the more difficult songs where we did a lot of dancing and I found I had to take my sling off. As I threw my arms around in the dance, the pain was extreme, but I bit it back.

“How did that feel guys?” Kev asked Nick and I.

“To tell you the truth, it hurt like hell” Nick said with a grin

“Yeah” I agreed

“Well… we can’t canel, we’ve done that too much already” He said

“It’s ok, I’ll just have to have apandol on hand” I said

“Same” Said Nick nodding. We did a few more songs and than split up into 3 groups. Brian and Nick went back to the hotel, Kev and Howie went to talk with my Mom about something and Reese and I headed to wards the dressing room. We went in and sat down on the couch.

“You’re not as mad as I expected you to be” I said

“I am mad Alex, but I love you” She said

“I’m really sorry I did it” I said

“I know you are” She said

“Do you forgive me?” I asked

“Yeah I do” She said curling up against me. I wrapped my good arm around her and kissed her head.

Chapter 4

“Let’s get married right now” I whispered

“What?” She asked, surprised.

“Let’s get married right now” I repeated

“For real?” She asked

“Yeah, we’ll get the guys and find a registry” I said

“What about everyone else? Our Mom’s and friends and stuff?” She asked

“We’ll have 2” I said. She grinned

“This is bad” She said

“I know, but it’ll be fun, let’s go” I said standing up. She stood and we walked quickly out to Jerry and he took us back to the hotel. We found Nick and Bri in Nick’s room, watching a movie on the TV.

“Guys, we’re gonna get married today” I said. They both turned and looked at us, with raised eyebrows.

“What about the real wedding you’ve started planning?” Bri asked

“We’re gonna have 2, but I just wanna marry Rhia right now” I said

“Well, let’s go than” Nick said standing up.

“Me and Bone will go find the registry. Nick you take Reese shopping quickly for a dress and some flowers and stuff and we’ll tell Kev and D” Bri said, taking charge. I turned and kissed Reese goodbye before following Bri out the door.

“We need rings” I said. He got out his mobile and dialled a number.

“Yo Nicky, buy some wedding bands while you’re out, AJ will pay you back when it’s done” He said and hung up. We raced down the stairs, not bothering with the elevator and caught Kev and Howie before they got on.

“guys, whoa hold up” I called. They stopped and looked. We must’ve looked pretty weird.

“What, where’s Rhianna, is she ok?” Asked Kev, in a hurry.

“yeah she’s fine, listen, we’re getting married today” I said quietly, glancing around

“Well, ok, have you got everything?” he asked,

“no, we’re on our way to do it now” I said

“We need some nice clothes” Howie said

“We’ll buy them, just come on” I said and we let our bodyguards lead us through our fans, signing a couple more autographs. We found a registry, asked the judge to marry Reese and I and than left to get nice clothes. Bri rang Nick and told him where it was and what time to be there. We got some nice slacks and dress shirts from a nearby shop and than they waited while I threw up in a public toilet. I didn’t know if it was from my hangover or nerves. We went back to the registry after we’d changed and waited. The door opened and Nick came in. He looked good with dress pants, dress shirt and a tie.

“guys, I wore a tie” He said looking at us

“And it suits you, you should wear one more often” I said smartly. He glared playfully.

“Are we ready? Cos Reese is out here and she’s ready” he said

“yeah we’re ready” I said. The judge nodded and Nick went back out the door and reappeared a second later with Reese on his arm. She was dressed in a gorgeous white formal dress, silver high heels and a silver tiara on her head. She was carrying 3 red rosed and 3 white ones and she grinned at me as Nick walked her into the room. I shifted my sunglasses off my face and watched her. She was beautiful. When she reached me, Nick kissed her Cheek and shook my hand and than stood beside Bri, who was standing on Reese side of the room. Nick produced a camera out of his pocket and started taking photos. I had to laugh.

“Do you Alexander James Mclean take this girl to be you wife?” Asked the judge. I smiled and a nearly started crying.

“I do” I said. Reese grinned and a tear slipped down her cheek. I wiped it away.

“Do you Rhianna Scarlet Jones take this man to be your husband?” Asked the judge

“I do” She whispered and another few tears escaped her eyes. A tear slipped down my cheek and I looked at her. She grinned and bit her lip a little.

“The rings?” Said the judge. Nick passed the camera to Bri and Bri started taking happy snaps while Nick dug around in his pocket. He produced 2 gold wedding bands and passed them to the judge. I slipped one on Reese’s finger, repeating what the judge said and she did the same to me, sobbing a little in the middle of it.

“I now pronounce you Husband and Wife. AJ, you may kiss your bride” Said the judge. I wiped away a few more of her tears and gently placed my lips on hers, kissing her gently. The guys all clapped and cheered.

“Mrs McLean” I whispered as we broke the kiss. She grinned and was suddenly pulled away from me by kev who was swinging her around and hugging her. Nick was slapping me on the back and Bri was squashing my broken arm.

“guys, guys, arm” I said in a strained voice

“Oh fuck, sorry” Said Bri stepping away

“I hate to be a pain and break up the celebration, but you might want to sign the wedding certificate” Said the judge. I grinned and signed my name, Reese signed hers and than the guys all signed theres. Nick asked the judge to take some pictures for us and all got in a group. He snapped some pictures for us and we thanked him for everything.

Chapter 5

“Come on, we need to celebrate” Kev said

“How?” I asked

“A bottle of bubbly of course, I’ll met you lot back at the hotel” he said and went out the door. I shrugged and we went down stairs and got in a cab. Reese was sitting on my lap, holding her flowers and Nick and Bri were sitting beside us. D was in the front.

“We’re married” Reese whispered in my ear

“I know” I whispered back

“I’m your wife Alex” She whispered

“I know, baby girl, I love you” I whispered back

“I love you too” She said.

“guys, it’s rude to whisper” Saiod Nick who was sitting on the other side of Bri, who was in the middle.

“They’re just being lovey dovey” Bri said

“What did they say?” Howie asked, turning slightly I smiled and put my sunglasses on.

“Reese said “we’re married, than bone said, I know, than reese said I’m ur wife alex and bone said I know baby girl I love u than reese said I love u too” Bri said

“Aww” Nick said. Howie smiled.

“What are we gonna do about our rings?” Reese asked

“Does it fit any other fingers?” I asked. She lifted her hand up and slid the ring off, trying it on her other fingers. It fit the her right ring finger, than she sighed.

“I just wanna wear it and tell everyone that I’m your wife” She said

“I know, but our moms would shoot us” I said. She grinned. I slid my wedding band off and tried it on my other fingers. It fit my left hand middle finger so I left it there.

“It’s a shame we’re not gonna be able to have a honeymoon” I said

“You could book the honeymoon sweet at the hotel” Nick said

“It’s not that nice” Said the cab driver smiling at us in the rear view mirror

“Can you recommend anywhere in the city?” I asked

“Your best bet would be just to stay at your hotel, there’s really no where else relatively nice to go” He said

“Why don’t we spend a weekend somewhere when the tour’s finished next week?” Reese said, playing with the hair at the back of my neck gently

“Sounds good” I said as we arrived at the hotel. I saw the fans and made a face.

“Listen man, could you please take as around the back?” I asked

“Sure thing” He said and started moving again. We went around the back to the service entrance and got out, I paid him and went over to the others. I grabbed Reese’s hand and held it in mine as we walked through the kitchen. We took the stairs up to our floor and started towards our room. I produced a card from my pocket and swiped it, pushing open the door. Reese was about to walk in, but I pulled her back. She looked at me, slightly puzzled. I grinned and bent down, scooping her into my arms. She laughed and kissed me as I stepped through the door, careful not to bump her head. Nick, Howie and Bri clapped and followed us in. I set her down on the bed and sat next to her, the others making themselves comfortable on the couch and chairs. Kev came in carrying a bottle of bubbly not long after and poured us each a glass. He stood.

“I’d like to make a toast to the bride and groom” He said. The other stood and held their glasses up. Reese and I grinned.

“Congratulations on the marriage and may you have many happy years together” He said

“To AJ and Rhianna” They all said and we clinked glasses and took a sip. My arm had started aching, but I didn’t say anything. We had another glass of champagne each and than put it in the fridge.

“We gotta go to the stadium” Howie said looking at his watch. I groaned.

“I’ll be there watching you” Reese said with a smile

“Ok” I said and smiled back. I was so happy right now. The guys left and Reese and I got changed. She hung her dress on a coat hanger and put the roses in some water.

Chapter 6

“Rhia, sit down for a second” I said. She sat on the bed and I knelt in front of her, holding both her hands in my good one.

“I’m so glad we got married today” I said to her

“I am too” She said with a smile

“Are you really?” I asked

“Yeah, I love you so much Alexander James McLean” She said, putting both her hands on my face and looking into my eyes

“I love you so much too Rhianna Scarlet McLean” I said, a big grin spreading across my face. She grinned too and leaned forwards kissing me.

“Alex, I have to tell Mom” She said

“I know, I’m telling my mom too” I said

“Who cares what everyone thinks, let’s just show off that we’re married” She said, her eyes glowing.

“Ok” I said and we quickly put our wedding rings back on our wedding fingers and stood up.

“Tonight after the concert I’m gonna make love to my new wife and than I’m gonna fall asleep with her in my arms” I whispered. She smiled and kissed me again. When we went down stairs we told the guys our plan and they all agreed that it would be best. When we went out into the small group of fans, I smiled and held Rhianna closer to me.

“AJ OVER HERE” Some girl yelled out. I followed her voice and went over, smiling at the girl who looked about 17.

“Can I have your autograph?” She asked excitedly

“Sure” I said holding out my left hand. She handed me her cd and stared at my ring intently.

“Did you and Rhianna get married already?” She asked. Rhianna smiled wide and I nodded, handing her back her cd.

“Yeah we kinda eloped about 2 hours ago” I said

“Congratulations” She said

“Thank you very much” I said

“Thanks” Rhianna said.

“I got you guys an engagement present, but since you’re already married you can have it as a wedding present” She said handing over a relatively big box

“Look Rhia, our first wedding present” I said

“Thank you” She said to the girl. The girl smiled and I started opening the paper and box. I found 2 champagne glasses one inscribed with Alexander and the other Rhianna and smiled.

“Thank you so much” I said leaning over and hugging her. She nearly died. Rhianna also gave her a hug and we moved on. Only a couple of other people commented on our wedding rings and we answered happily. Even the bitchy girl didn’t dampen our spirits.

Chapter 7

At the stadium we found my mom who travelled around with the band (she was seeing Billy, our guitarist). I had my left hand in my pocket and Reese had hers tucked into my back pocket, because her arm was around my waist.

“Mom, we have something to tell you” I said

“Sure what is it hun?” She asked

“Well, Reese and I, we kinda, like got married about 2 hours ago” I said. She smiled at us.

“I thought you had, you had a guilty look on your face. Congratulations AJ” She said pulling me into a hug

“Thanks” I said hugging her back

“Wel,come to the family Reese” She said hugging Reese as well

“Thanks Mom” She said

“I hope you’ll be having a proper wedding when the tour’s over” Mom said with a grin

“Yeah we were gonna have 2 anyway” I said. She nodded and gave us both another hug. After that we went to the dressing room and I used my cell to call Reese’s Mom. When Reese told her I could hear her screaming  and smiled. She told us both congratulations and than I had to start getting ready for the show, so Reese said goodbye to her mom and than to me and went to the VIP box in the audience. We did our mantra and found our places under the stage and waited. As we shot into the air I felt myself start grinning and than counted in my head. I squinted through my sunglasses and saw Rhianna swaying with the music. I did my wail and after a few more countrs Nick started singing. When it was my turn I went to the very edge of the stage and sang with everything I had. We did a couple more uptempo songs and than stood in a semicircle and started singing ‘Just To Be Close’ a’ capella After Anywhere For You we started our solo’s, Howie went first. When it was my turn I went out on to the stage and smiled.

“Now, I’d like to say that about 3 hours ago I got married and now I’d like to bring my beautiful knew wife on stage” I said. Jerry helped Reese over the rail and than on the stage and she shyly came and stood beside me.

“Everyone I present to you my wife Rhianna McLean” I said. The crowd cheered and I smiled.

“I love you” I said to her. She smiled and said it back, though no one could hear her because she didn’t have a mic. I nodded to my band and started sing, slow dancing with her around the stage.

“If you lay down, lay down beside me, you might wake, you might wake up beside me for ever and ever and ever” I sang, looking her straight in the eyes as I dipped her backwards. Again the crowd went wild and She walked off the stage with me while Kev went on. I took off my head set and kissed her gently.

“I love you so much” I said

“I love you too” She said. Kev’s guard Tom escorted her back to her seat and I got ready to go back on stage. At the end of the concert we had a short meet & greet and than we went back to the hotel. All of us were fairly tired. The tour was coming to an end and all of us just wanted to go home to our families, even though I had my family right here with me. Back at the hotel I told Reese to sit on the bed and watch TV while I ran a bubble bath in our huge bath tub in our hotel room. I lit candles and turned the light off.

“Come with me” I said. She stood and followed me into the bathroom. I closed the door a little and smiled at her.

“Thank you” She whispered

“Get in” I said. She quickly undressed as did I and we stepped into the water, sliding down into the bubbles. She lay back against me and I wrapped my good arm around her waist and rested the other on the outside of the tub.

“Where are we gonna go for our honeymoon?” She asked as we lay in the water together

“We can go anywhere you want” I said kissing her neck gently

“I don’t care, as long as I’m with you” She said

“We could just lock ourselves in our house” I said.

“Our house?” She asked

“Well now that we’re married I assume you’ll come and live with me in Orlando” I said

“You know I will” She said with a giggle. I smiled and kissed her neck again, tracing circles around her belly button under water.

“Where have you never been before?” I asked her

“I’ve never been to Australia” She said

“Than we’ll go to Australia for a while” I said

“For real?” She asked

“Anything for my wife” I whispered in her ear. She turned over in the water and I slid my good hand up and down her back.

“Let’s make love” She said softly

“With pleasure” I said. She put her legs on either side of mine and carefully guided me inside her. Even though she was on top it was gentle and passionate and it felt good, despite the constant pain in my arm. When we’d finished we got out and dried each other off and climbed into bed, naked and we slept much the same as last night, with my broken arm across my chest and her arm over my stomach. I didn’t sleep much at all really. I just watched her and thought how lucky I was. When I did eventually fall asleep I dreamt of her.

Chapter 8

When I woke up early the next morning she was still sleeping soundly. I carefully shifted her arm and sat up. I yawned quietly and stood, pulling on a pair of boxer shorts. I sat in the chair opposite the bed and watched her, for ages. Her eyes fluttered open and she smiled at me.

“Morning baby” I said

“Morning” She said sleepily, stretching out and than curling back up, pulling the blanket tighter around her.

“Sleep good?” She asked

“Yeah, did you?” I replied

“Yeah, because I was sleeping next to my husband” She said. I smiled and glanced at my wedding band and than looked at her. She smiled.

“Thank for last night” I said

“Anytime” She said. I grinned and she laughed. There was a knock on the door. I stood and went over, opening it to find Nick standing there.

“What?” I asked

“Good morning to you too. Just came to see what the newly weds were up to this fine, but rather wet morning” He said coming in and making himself comfortable on the couch.

“Well I thought we could lock the door and let no one in and make love all day” Reese said with a massive grin. I grinned back at her and Nick raised his eyebrow.

“Or not?” He asked

“What would you like to do?” I asked him

“Well, since we didn’t have a real reception/bucks night/ hens night I figured we could combine them all in one and just drink all day” He said bluntly

“And perform drunk?” I asked

“Wouldn’t be the first time for any of us” He said with a shrug

“It’s not a good idea” Reese said

“Aww you guys are just like the others, don’t wanna do nuffin fun no more” He whined

“Other than get drunk, what do you wanna do?” Reese asked

“I don’t know, I just don’t wanna spend the day here” He said

“Shopping is always good” Reese piped up with a smile

“yeah let’s go shopping” Nick said enthusiastically

“Alright, get out so we can get dressed” I said He grinned and left the room.

“Rhia, did you really wanna stay in bed all day?” I asked

“Hell yeah!” She exclaimed with a wide smile

“When we finish the tour..” I trailed off. She grinned and stood up, going into the bathroom. I followed and stopped in the door way, watching her watch me as she undressed.

“I can’t wait to start making some babies with you” I said as I looked her over

“Not for a while yet Tiger” She laughed

“I just wanna have a break you know? So we can set up house and have a honeymoon and a proper wedding” I said to her

“I know Alex, but you’ve gotta work” She said gently as she turned on the shower

“Work, work, work that’s ALL I do” I whined. She laughed and nodded for me to get in with her. I undressed and climbed in, taking care to keep my cast out of the water.

“Alex” She said as she ran the soap slowly over my chest

“Yeah baby?” I answered

“You are the most incredible man I have ever met” She said leaning up to kiss me. I kissed her back and pulled away smilng at her.

“And you are the most incredible woman I have ever met” I replied hugging her with my good arm and leaning my head on hers. After about 20 minutes we got out and dried each other off carefully.

“What should I wear?” She asked as we searched our various suitcases

“Well, I kinda like what you’re wearing now” I said grinning at her. She wiggled her eyebrows and poked her leg through the slit in the towel.

“Your no help Alexander” She said with a grin. We dressed quickly and than went to Nicsk room where he was talking on his phone. He said a quick goodbye and grinned at us.

“Ya’ll ready?” He asked

“Let’s get this over with so I can come back here and make love to my wife” I said

“Dawg, you’re a horn bag” He said as we went down the hall to the elevator.

Chapter 9

“I jus wanna stop off at this club before we start shopping” He said

“Why?” I asked

“Dude, it’s cos I’m checkin out places to take my girl when we come here on holiday” He grinned. I leaned back against the wall as we made our descent and Reese stood in front of me, kissing me gently. We stepped off the elevator when it arrived and walked out the back to the kitchen and went through. Reese and I headed for the hire car where security was standing but Nick went in the opposite direction.

“It[‘s this way guys” He said

“We’re walking?” Reese asked

“It’s like 3 places up” Nick said laughing. I rolled my eyes at her and we followed him, hand in hand. Nick was talking a mile a minute about something, but all I could think of was that I was now married to the most beautiful girl in the world. We went into this club and it was kinda dark. I felt Reese hold on to me tighter and gave her hand a squeeze to reassure her.

“Hey Nicky, bro you sure we’re allowed in here?” I asked carefully. Suddenly Lights came on and the rest of the guys, security and dancer plus my Mom and Reese’s Mom yelled ‘Surprise’ and a couple of camera’s flash. Reese started squealing and ran over to her Mom, hugging her tight. I went over to my Mom and hugged her, kissing her cheek gently.

“Welcome to your wedding reception” Kev said to me shaking my hand

“Thanks man” I said giving him a quick hug. Nick was beaming proudly near Howie.

“Onya Carter” I said slogging his arm playfully. He laughed. I felt a tap on my shoulder and saw a journalist and her photographer.

“Can we troube you for an interview?” She asked

“No, hold on I’ll get Rhia” I said with a grin. I went and got her and we sat in a corner while everyone else pigged out on food brought in by Macca’s. I’d become rather hungry. After the interview Kev stepped up on to a small stage and grabbed a mic.

“Everyone I need to ask something very important. AJ, Reese. Can you manage to be split up for 10 minutes? The dancers have a surprise for Reese and me and the boys have a surprise for you” He said

“Aww cmon…” I said

“Let’s go, Reese” Said Krystal, one of our younger dancers. She and Reese got along ok. She gave me a kiss ont eh cheek and let the Dancers lead her into the female toilets.

“Alright, Jay, go put this on” Brian said shoving a suitbag into my hands

“if it’s naughty I’m not gonna wear it in front of my mother” I called as I was pushed into the male toilets.

Chapter 10

 I opened the bag and found a suit. I shruigged and checked it all out before deciding that it was good to put on. I quickly changed and went back into the main room where Georgie, another dancer was telling Kev something.

“Jay, step right here, please” Howie said pushing me gently towards a place on the dance floor.

“Ladies and Gentlemen. It is with the greatest of honours that I present to you,

Mr. Alexander James McLean and his beautiful wife, Mrs RhiannaScarlet McLean for the first dance of this couples married life” Kev said and the people standing around me started clapping. The female toilet door open and out filed the dancers and than Reese in a gorgeous wedding gown that fitted her perfectly. As she started walking to wards me, Nick shoved me gently and I walked towards her. I saw she had tears running down her cheeks.

“Can I have this dance?” I whispered to her as we reached each other. She nodded and put her hand in mine. Kev, Nick, Howie and Brian were all standing on the stage now and they started singing  I’ll Never Break Your Heart. Tears pricked my own eyes as we danced in a slow circle and I sang to her as well as the guys. We partied on until it was time for the concert and evne than we partied. All of us were on a rush from the excitement of today and my eyes kept falling on Reese who was standing in the audience with a smile on her face. After the concert we partied again, having a big night on the town. When we got back to the hotel, we weren’t all that drunk, just hyper.

“I wanna make love to you baby” I said to her as we stood kissing at the foot of the bed

“Mmm that sounds good” She answered. Needless to say we didn’t sleep much that night. But again we were woken by banging on the door.

“What” I whined

“It’s me” Said Kev

“Dude, don’t you ever sleep?” Reese asked. I had to laugh

“I’m comin in guys so cover up” He said with a chuckle. I made sure Reese was covered and then covered myself a little better. Kev pushed the door open and came in, sitting on the couch. He was holding a newspaper.

“Here” He said tossing it at me. I picked it up and sighed, squinting to see it better through my tired eyes.

“The Headline” He persisted

“yeah yeah” I said and looked at it. ‘Backstreet Boy Elopes After 3 Day Engagement’.
